Beside the usual suspects that always turn up for most events (the usual suspects I am talking about include Francis (physically may not be there but paid us a visit earlier on), KK, Vince, GiGi and Dave), this time round I am very honoured to have Hui Psia and Allan Koh after MIA for so long. Beside you guys I have a baby bonus too and that is ALLEN YU, thank you Allen for taking time off before your gig at your church to pay Ashton and myself a visit.

Lastly, thank you for the Ang Baos and gift that allow me to cover my cost :)

Something unbelievable at MacRitchie

Guys, u might have heard of Tree Top Walk in MacRitchie. I went there 2 weeks ago and along the forest trail, i came across this millipede.... bigger than those I seen when i was still playing marbles and fighting spiders dayz....

Gerard is back in Singapore

We would like to welcome back Gerard Chua...a.k.a "Ja Lat".
Though I think he wish to be back in US.... But for the time being, make yourself at home. And we look forward for a meet up soon. Probably when Gary decides to have a house warming.

Rachel and Garry's wedding @ Orchard Hotel 21st Sep 2005

Field Report for the evening

Jon being the coordinator reached the hotel at 5pm to start off his coordination stuff. Just like what he did for me, he is really good at coordinating.

The rest of the brothers were there at about 5.45pm

With 79 tables the coordinating part is definitely not easy especially when the beers and red wine were gone so fast. From Garry's sms he mentioned we made a record for the photo taking as we were able to execute it all within 42 mins. Well done guys

For the MCeeing part I reckon we have done our best and we have nothing to regret :) Dave, take it easy you have done a great job and I believe the rest will agree with me.

On 2 SIR and 652SIR sides I reckon Garry did not kana much tekan from us as compared to Wayang King.

The food was good and beer & wine were at least sufficient. As a whole if you ask me I think the wedding was a success.

The dinner ended at about 10.45pm and I believe everyone definitely had eat and drink to their hearts content.

Rachel and Garry's Wedding on 21st Sep 2005-morning part

A summarised field report

On the 20th Sep a handful of the brothers stayed overnight at Garry's CCK. The group was made of Wayang King, beatles, Vince, Dave Tan and Garry. We had our own enetertainment all thanks to supplies from Yang Yang, drink beer eat tibits, smoke and the usual TCSS.

On the 21th we reveille at about 5am and after a cup of Kopi we were all ready to Cheong

The brother group was made up of Wayang King, Yang Yang, beatles, Vince, R Ng, Dave Tan and Jon

After all the preparation and well coordinated plan we were able to reach HG well in advance. After the bridal car opening that was where the Tekan session start. The tekan session as a whole I would say quite lenient but messy since alot of eating was involved.

Obstacle alpha: TLC burger with alot of chilli and bitter gourd. The sisters were quite 'nice' to sooth things out by making us drink freashly squeezed lime juice
Obstacle Beta: Most disgusting of all, diaper spread with shit look alike chocolate. Wayang king and myself were quite messed up by the chocolate
Obstalce Charlie: Test of endurance to unroll a whole roll of string where the sisters lied to us that the key was inside.

After getting into the house, the sisters made Garry to Sing his way up to the bride's room and that is where the brothers got 'angry' and decided to bash into the room. Wayang King was quite happy to do it or in fact all of us were quite keen to do it because along the way alot of raba raba were involved :) Some of us even mentioned no need to pay tips for it :) (Guys make sure your wife don't read about this)

After another song in front of the bride's room, Garry finally had the chance to kiss the bride.

At St Anne's Church to be honest Yang Yang and myself almost fell asleep but just for you Grry we managed to fight again the Z monster to stay awake.

After the tea ceremonies at JW and HG, the sisters and brothers fall out to prepare for the night

IPPT on 22nd October 2005

Guys

Another round of IPPT taking organised by Francis. They have already made the booking to be on the 22nd October 2005 at 7.30am. Currently, we have Francis, R Ng, KK and Garry

So anymore interested takers please go into MIW to book. I will also create a link in our blog so that you guys can just click on it and go ahead with the booking

For me I have actually cleared my IPPT two days with my 2nd attempt at Maju camp. My first attempt I failed by 8 secs as I need to run below 12mins 40secs to get the $100 incentives (since for my cat i need at least D+15 to pass)

Khatib FCC unless you are very fit and steady if not I would recommend Maju just like what KK R and Francis told me. 2.4km can cut abit of corners somemore

For those taking in Oct, good luck and remember to train hard.

20th August 2005 at 2.30pm, that is the day where I recollected my recruit days where I need to cut BOTAK. However, this time I felt totally different as I am doing for another reason and is for the reason of funds raising for the Children's Cancer Foundation. Nothing really great but I am just giving the little I have to help the childrens
So here is my new look brudders and my Reverend name will be Wu Neng (not impotent lah but meaning nothing is impossible) from now on.

IPPT on 10th Sep @ Khatib Camp

Dear all

Just wondering who is able to join me for my IPPT which I booked to be on the 10th Sep 7.30am at Khatib Camp.

Better clear it before we go ICT, although Siong to take a NON ICT IPPT but the reward is worth it. See others run while you lobo during ICT IPPT is quite rewarding lah.

Garry big Day is on the 21st Sep 2005 which means the brother group will need to 'keng' MC or apply for leave. To be honest the preparation part is a real PAIN IN THE ASS. That evening will definitely be fun filled and full of 'TeGan' drinkings

Back to everyones favourite, Bac's Night!!! KK the organiser what is the big plan? Get Garry to commit a date and plan for it. You do not have much time left :)

Saifuddin on his promotion to FatherHood

Din, our PL 7 MG commander has done us proud again after Francis to get his promotion to the Rank of Father on the 26th July 2005 (correct me if I remembered wrongly). Many congrates bro. BTW what is your son's name?

KK and Hui Psia wedding on 24th July 2005 @ Orchid Country Club

After KK's lunch reception I reckon the rest of the bachelors will reconsider whether to have another lunch reception or not. That afternoon was really crazy with the handful of us drank untill so high. That afternoon was definitely electrifying and fun filled all thanks to

sporting Bride (Hui Psia), bridegroom (KK), father in law (MingSheng) and not to forget Hui Psia sister that drank abit with us. I hope my MCeeing performing was up to expectation.

Bac's Nite

It seems to be a tradition or culture to have a Bachelor's nite for any of our bradders who are about to tie the knot.

The first ever bac's nite that we have was actually Francis in year 2003 which nothing 'happening' actually took place

My bac's nite took place in May 2005 where we met up at Maxwell hawker. After dinner we when over to THE ONE FAMILY KTV where we finished one Chivas. The nite went well with David (Bravo), Francis, Garry, Raymond and KK. What a nite

After my big bang I reckon we were hooked with the idea of Bac's nite where the bradders seem to be enjoying more than the bridegroom to be. Hmm...I guess all the while the culture is like that. Next in line we have KK bac's nite which we executed it in July 2005. As usual we met up at a hawker (Newton) where KK treated us to a sumptous meal of seafood and hoping that we will let him off BUT that never happen:). KK bac's nite was definitely more exciting than mine since I am the organsier :(. The night may be wild but all of us as usual could control well and go home when the party ended.

Next in line GARRY's Bachelor night. Hopefully KK is able to give him a big surprise.

BTW the rule of thumb is that the most recently bridegroom must organise the next bac's nite for the next coming bridegroom.

Daniel and Belle Wedding on 17th May 2005 @ Merchant Court Swissotel Hotel

Finally is my big day! I am very fortunate to have this group of army kakis with me to see me through thick and thin on my big day. The brothers group was made up of Garry (Drinker), KK (my best games helper), David Tan (another of my best games helper and negotiator), Vince (Driving) and Jon (my coordinator for the night). Thank you all for helping me so much on that day.

CNY Houses Visit 2005

This year there was a special arrangement to do a Island wide house visit to the guys who have just got their house. The route of advance was as follows

1) KK's House at BuangKok
2)Daniel's House at Wellington Circle where the Lo Hei session was conducted
3) Jon's House at Boon Lay
4) We have our finale and gambling session at Francis' place at Bukit Panjang. The gambling session was full of laughter and crappy jokes. At the end of the day me with my beginner luck was the big winner while Vince our diligent driver was the main loser. Not to forget the highlight of the session was Jon who got himself a triple 7, he was paid 7 times of his winning.

Next year house visit we have all agreed to be at Garry's new place.
